ENGINE OILs
SAE 5W-30 mineral-based oil is in the machine upon delivery.
This oil is good for the first 5 hour break in period.
Then after this first 5 hour period 10W-40 mineral oil is to be used until 25 hour service.
After the 25 hour service use a reputable 5W-40 synthetic oil for all round all season applications from then on.
1000cc engine oil capacity with new filter at oil change is 2.5 QUARTS

Valve clearances: 1000cc. Valve clearance to be done with cold engine
Intake valve: 0.06-0.1 mm
Exhaust valve: 0.11-0.15 mm
Castle nut to Axle torque figure: 300NM
MOST IMPORTANT: You must do your 5 hour or 200KM half throttle (below 4000RPM) break in period, otherwise this could affect any future warranty claims.

GEARBOX AND DIFF OILS: Semi Synthetic or full Synthetic 75W-90
SHOCK ABSORBERS: These are filled with NITROGEN and preset at the factory to a pressure of 145 PSI. Do not fill with AIR.
TYRE PRESSURES for all around use 10Lb
WHEEL NUT torque setting 70Lb
